www-strong response for Q1 And 2.
EBI-basic factual errors in Q3,you need to revise the CSP's fully
2) Read the mark scheme for this assessment carefully. Write down the number of marks you achieved for the three questions: _/2; _/4; _/9.
Q1-2
Q2-33
Q3-13) For Question 2 on Chicken, use the mark scheme to identify at least one strategy used to promote Chicken to an audience that you didn't mention in your answer. The key lesson from this question was to make specific reference to the CSP in your answer.

one strategy will be the film festivals

4) Now look at Question 3. Using the mark scheme as a guide, write a paragraph arguing that it is NOT important for the British film industry to make social-realist films like Chicken and that it should concentrate on making bigger-budget movies funded by Hollywood studios.

british film industry should concentrate more on making bigger budget movies funded by Hollywood because these movies are going to make more money and also these movies are big enough to show Britain globally which is a good thing for the british film industry.

5) Finally, cover the other side of the debate. Write a paragraph arguing that it IS important for the British film industry to make social-realist films like Chicken and that such films contribute strongly to the social and cultural influence of the industry. You may also consider how they should be funded here. Use the mark scheme to help you with this.

furthermore it is very important for the British film industry to produce film  like chicken because these films help to shoe the world the real culture of Britain and also have a moral message for the society which is not shown in the big movies funded by Hollywood.

1) British Film Industry factsheets #132 & #100
2) Chicken case study research
 3) Regulation - BBFC research and tasks
arthouse

film regulations and BBFC

1) Research the BBFC in more detail: what is the institution responsible for? How is it funded? What link does it have to government?

BBFC is the British board of film is an institution which gives an  age appropriation for the film, videos and webmistress institution is funded by the film industry and is linked by the government as it gives an national certificate to the films for the age restriction which follow laws by the government.

2) Read this BBFC guide to how films are rated. Summarise the process in 50 words.

The process to rate a film is done by looking at their language, physical action that takes place and the message that it has for the audience so for example a suicide movie is not for people who are below the age of 12 as it doesn't have a great message for them t.in addition the BBC have to look at everything and make notes of anything which has to do with abusive language and the content which is then judged by them at the end to give the appropriate age rating for film.

3) Read this BBFC outline of the issues faced when classifying a film. Summarise the debate in 50 words.

The issues faced classifying a film is that there are a lot of culture that can be against a particular genre or message like sex to shown in a film can be against someone's culture.furthermore there can be things which are not acceptable for a lot of public so this means they need to make sure that they are giving a certification to a movie by looking at their content, message and language.

4) Read this BBFC section on controversial decisions. Why did The Dark Knight generate a large amount of media coverage regarding its certificate? Do you agree with the 12A certificate The Dark Knight was awarded?

i don't agree with it as the movie focuses a lot on physical violence which is not appropriate for people who are the age of 12

5) What are the guidelines for a 15 certificate?

The guidelines of a 15 certificate
ate is that it should not have extreme violence and abusive language used in the film  and to make sure that sexual activity is not visible.

6) The BBFC website offers an explanation of every classification it makes and detailed case studies on selected titles. Look at the rating for Chicken and explain why it was given a 15 certificate.

chicken was given then the 15 certificate because chicken used abusive  language and had sex references which is not appropriate for audiences below the age of 15.
