culture test is a test which is divided into 4 categories which shows that the film is produced,set and has characters which are from Britain in order for the movie to count as a British movie.

3) What is the main problem for the British film industry?

The main problem for the British film industry is that they have to sell their movie to a distribution which means they make less money out of it and cannot reinvest the income in the Britain movies.

two options

-The British filmmakers could rely on the co-production of american studios which means that there is a chance that the British cultures will not be shown.

-the second option is that they continue making their low budget films targeted at a niche.

6) In your opinion, which of these two options would best safeguard the future of the British film industry?

In my opinion i believe that they should go for the second option because they should keep showing the audience the real British culture which in my opinion  is far more important than making profits from films.

      a film that shows British cultures,morals  or  values is known as a British film.

The difference between Hollywood production context and a production context of British film is that Hollywood productions shows that they have a high budget with the best Hollywood celebrities working in the movie with a driven story.on the other hand the British production context is shown to be a low budget movie with high concepts and with character which can be driven to the stories like harry potter.

The franchise started at 1960's.

4) In terms of film censorship and graphic content, what began to change in British film in the 1970s and 1980s?

The British film industry started to see in a change in 1970 and 1980's as the subject of censorship banned their content and  that the american investment in Britain films  were getting declined.

The youth is usually represented in british films/films like A Clockwork Orange and Rollercoaster Films.

The fact sheet suggest that the audience appeal of British films is by showing horror movies or movies which have something relevant to British culture.
