1) Write an analysis of the cinematography in the opening sequence. Highlight your use of media language and try to cover camera shots, angles and movement using the terminology we have learned in lessons.

The opening scene starts with long shorts of the setting and then it goes to close up to show the character's face who is wearing the mask .therefore the setting is shown properly with the long short and they also used the tracking shot which was when the character was walking .Therefore there are medium close-up at his face when he is taking the mask off.In addition his props are also been shot as close-ups to show the importance of them.furthermore high angle shots are taken when the view is shown of the character and animals.

2) How does the camerawork give the audience clues about the setting, narrative and character?

The camerawork gives the audience an idea of what setting it is in because the setting is shown in top angle and small details like animals are shown in close-up which showed that the setting is in a different world and the character is also very different as the character is shown to have a mask and have another side of him which is very funny as he was dancing.
 3) Find and analyse two  film or TV stills. Embed the images in your blog and analyse the camera shot/angle and what they communicate to the audience.  

The shot is a medium close-up from the clown's face which is meant to be very scary.furthermore this can possibly make the audience feel a little bit scared from the character.


The shot is a long shot which shows all the different character that are shown in the movie to show the significance of them and also shows the audience that there is a possible way that there is a action scene coming up

in my opinion my WWW is that i  made my video with all the different camera shots that i was supposed to and my ebi is that i need make headings for my video and also make sure that my story line makes sense.

when i start my coursework the first thing i will do is work in my ideas and have everything planned before i start shooting and also for my editing use sound that matches the scene we are shooting for.furthermore i need to make use that my camera is focused at all times when i am shooting for my shot.

This video has   all   the shots  which are by  the shoulder and long or establishing shots to convey the multiple peoples emotions. therefore there are a  lot of depressing and emotional acts are taken place of boy who is unable to make his love story true. furthermore close up shots deliver the up close emotion of the character; this will create vicarious pleasure for the audience since they will grow attachment towards the main character. Many audiences may relate to this situation since its situated in a school.

I liked samie's video because all the sounds were shown very clearly and which were not shown clearly in our clip and the transition was also better. The other clip would be of nauman's because he included diegetic sound and we mainly focused on non diegetic sound. The third clip will be lud's clip as it smooth transitions and had very interesting clips.

parallel and contrapuntual sound video

This youtube video was created to show parallel sound and contrapuntal sound with scenes from movies. therefore some clips show no synergy with the song and that is known as contrapuntal sound. This then  generates a sense of confusion and humor for the audience as the sound doesn't match the scenes . In this montage,  i have also  used emotional songs with some depressing scenes to exhibit parallel sound which normally associates with the scene. However, I used a romantic song with a scene denoting violence and blood .Furthermore then i added another fight scene with a GrM song which also portrays romance in an informal manner.

www-my subject was very clear which was my face and the plan for my makeup was also successful.therefore my lightning at the end was also something which linked well with the genre
ebi-i need to use music which is not copyright and use a different camera for a clear quality

next time when i do it then i will make sure i have a different camera and i will also make sure that the subject of the video is clear .therefore also avoid using copyright music.
furthermore in the future i will also do my editing properly which will include the title,subject and slow/fast motions.



I have learnt from the persona mine en scene that small details like costume and lightning play a very big role to miss-enscene therefore changing your look with makeup also gives you an entire different character related to the makeup.

film noir

a film noir  is a type of genre which was in 1950's which is focused on a type of mood  and is something very mysterious.the lightning is black and white which is mostly low key lightning but isn't as they didn't have colour in that time so when it started it was high key lightning as we could see the actors face properly and then it was looking very realistic throughout so it was high key lightning used and we could see everyone's face clearly but there was some type of tension as one of them females were holding the prop of glass and her facial expressions looked like she is a female fatale and at the end there is a shadow which clearly shows that there is something mysterious which links into film noir as it is very mysterious and the lightning helps the scene .therefore there is top lightning used which is a reason why we can see al their faces clearly.furthermore this links to film noir because it looks like there is something hidden from the audience and the costume that they mostly are wearing is also black which also makes us in a particular mood and makes us think there is something mysterious going on.
